The
Blessing of the Animals in the Courtyard
Saturday,
October 3 10:00
AM
Calling all creatures great and small! Join us for the annual Blessing of the Animals to be held in the church Courtyard beginning at 10 a.m. Animals of different varieties are welcome. Examples: dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, hamsters-bunnies-birds-etc. in their cages, horses haltered or bridled, turtles in their bowls. We want our animal friends to feel safe and secure along with their human companions for the day.
The
Third Annual Great Post-Thanksgiving Intergenerational
Turkey Carcass Treasure Hunt
Sunday, November 29 9:30-10:25
AM
It’s time once again for the Great Post-Thanksgiving Intergenerational Turkey Carcass Treasure Hunt! Like last year, join us as intergenerational teams of children, youth and adults race around the St. Mark’s grounds in search of treasure, solving clues and testing their knowledge of all things Episcopalian along the way. Since this is the first Sunday of Advent, be sure to study up on the season as well. Members of the teams that place first, second and third will have their names specially engraved upon the prestigious “Golden Bone” trophies.
