Help needed with food truck for hungry kids

You can volunteer for one day a week or several

St. Mark’s and the New Hope Road Alliance are seeking volunteers to serve lunches this summer to low-income children in our area. Folks are needed Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. You can choose to volunteer for just one day or several. The lunches are delivered by a food truck to disadvantaged neighborhoods.

This summer program run by Wake County provides funding for meals when schools are closed in neighborhoods where more than 50 percent of children qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
